About half way to the top of Bear mountain there is a large relatively flat area, I am on the eastern edge of it looking east. That is Fay canyon right below us. I have some photos of the canyon that are from part way up the far eastern wall basically looking back to where I am now. The top of the east wall of Boynton canyon and then Long canyon stretch into the distance on the left side. The low rise, right of center middle distance is the Mescal mountains. Way out is Wilson mountain and the Mogollon rim which runs from the SE to the NW of Arizona and forms much of the northern limits of the red rock canyons.
