Description

The second of seven photos in a sequence, of a piece of Harvard glacier calving off into College fjord. I was standing at the side rail taking some photos when I heard this rather loud crack, I looked around and saw a piece split off but I missed getting any photos, it doesn't take long to fall. So I looked around to see if there were any that looked about ready to go and saw these two column like pieces. So I propped myself into position and waited, it was only a few minutes till I heard another crack and the one started to fall. I have put together a triptych with three of the sequence included, it's Alaska 94-1923Tri.
