Cowpie 07-101 metal print by Scott McAllister.   Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description

After a good rain there are some shallow depressions on Cowpie that hold water for a little while. Though only a couple of inches deep they provide reflections of the surrounding formations. This was my third attempt, the first two turned out to be overcast days. But today I had beautiful blue skies, white clouds and great reflections. At 5:40AM on a July morning in 2007, I was waiting on Cowpie for the sun to come up. This was taken about an hour after my pre-dawn arrival at 6:46 AM, still early morning light.
