Artist's Description
This is very close to the Boynton 04-343 photo but a different year. I brightened it up some, did not use a vignette on the corners and you will notice a lot more of the tree is in sunshine. That is not because of the hour of the day but because of the day of the year. I made three trips back to this tree over a four year time span. It never looked like it did in 2004, including this trip in 2007. Then I thought to check which month was the first time I found it. That was June, the 2005 trip was in November and this 2007 trip was March. I did go back again in June of 2008 and then it was just like I saw it back in 2004. I still like the Boynton 04-343 better than this 2007 version but this has a different feel to it with the whole tree in sunshine, so I thought I would post it.
About Scott McAllister
New postings: I have been inspired by some new Paint programs / techniques. Along the way I discovered a new work flow for my photos that helped me realize a more dynamic and fresh look. At this time my new stuff is in the first collection, Far Out Photos. I hope you enjoy my new creative efforts. Scott My background: I started in photography in my mid 40's in Pennsylvania, mainly just shooting sunsets that my family and friends never seemed to notice and soon found myself hooked on photography. I noticed the sunsets because I was a weather forecaster in...
